The Miss North Carolina USA and Miss North Carolina Teen USA Pageant is proud to have a long relationship with High Point University in North Carolina, the #1 Up & Coming School in the South as listed in the 2010 U.S News & World Report, America's Best Colleges edition. Over the last 6 years four Miss North Carolina Teen USA winners have accepted full tuition scholarships to attend this extraordinary private liberal arts college. Former winners and HPU graduates Elizabeth Carty '09 and Brittany Crews '09, senior Nikkie Groat '10 and 2009 winner Julia Dalton '13 all call High Point University home along with numerous pageant contestants.
This year, each Miss North Carolina Teen USA contestant will receive a $1,000 per year scholarship to HPU and the Miss North Carolina Teen USA winner a $2,500 per year scholarship to HPU while they are an undergraduate. If academically talented, all recipients could qualify for additional academic scholarships through our Presidential Scholarship Program.
We would also like to thank High Point University for their support of the pageant and acknowledge their dedication to the young women of North Carolina.
