Ashley Love-Mills is a fun-loving, energetic, southern beauty, and is the current Miss North Carolina USA 2013. She is the daughter of James Mills and Gloria Love-Mills; originally from Orlando, Florida, Ashley now resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina State University in Media Communications and also received a minor in TV and Film Production.
Ashley is most passionate about being a spokesperson for Peaceful Schools-NC- an anti-bullying program founded by the North Carolina Psychoanalytic Foundation. She most recently partnered with the Department of Public Instruction and formed a statewide tour where she has been traveling to various elementary, middle and high schools to help educate our youth about the bullying epidemic and how they can fight back against it.
Ashley works full-time as a model and actress in the Southeast Market and has worked for several different clients including Pepsi, Belk, Corrigan & Johnson and Hanes. She is truly humbled by being given the opportunity to represent the state of North Carolina and is most looking forward to using her voice as Miss NC USA to make a difference throughout her state. Ashley also has high hopes about bringing the Miss USA title back home to North Carolina later on this year.
